Cheesy Chicken Tacos

This recipe will melt your mouth as it is full of cheese and chicken. It is loaded with plenty of proteins to keep your muscles in shape.

Serving Size: 6

Cooking Time: 20 Minutes

Ingredients:

1 tbsp. olive oil

2 chopped yellow onions

1 tsp. cumin

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 cups shredded chicken

⅓ cup green chilies

1 cup salsa

1 cup canned refried beans

12 hard taco shells

2 cups of shredded Pepper Jack cheese

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Have the oil in a skillet to heat over medium heat.

Add onions to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes.

Add cumin, salt, and pepper.

Stir well and add chicken, green chilies, and salsa.

Stir to combine ingredients well.

Layer half of the refried beans on a baking dish.

Spoon the remaining beans into the taco shells and top each shell with the chicken mixture.

Place them on the baking dish so that they are standing up.

Top the tacos with cheese and bake for 15 minutes.
